The article is fine until the second and third to last paragraphs which are speculative and have POV statements - unless there is a good reason for them to stay in, I think they ought to be removed. OlderBrother 12:58, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- They are POV, Yank them out. WikiDon 15:53, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- I've taken them out for the second time now, along with the details about his tenure at KC and as a head coach, which is repeated elsewhere in the article. OlderBrother 13:21, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
What the hell? Stop it. I'm not using POV. The Chiefs have one of the NFL's best offenses, fact. They also made improvements to their defense. Fact. I hardly see how that's POV.
How you put it, it's speculation. I always expect my team to do better than the year before, but I wouldn't expect my expectation to be worthy of inclusion in an encyclopaedia. If you can support it with quotes from informed sources, then put that in. If you have a source for his replacement as head coach, put that in. Without that, it is as worthless as me putting in I expect them to do badly if they get to the playoffs - who cares about my personal speculation? I asked before removing the points I considered POV and was supported - maybe ask before putting any potentially POV points back in.OlderBrother 13:38, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
- You need to cite some source stating their improved offense or show stats that show they improved. Mecu 13:48, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
And if someone could post a pick of Vermeil, preferably with his current team the Chiefs, that would be great. Burroughsks88 21:27, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
Could someone add something about his coaching stint at UCLA before going to the NFL? He *did* win the Rose Bowl in 1975.'
There, I added stuff about his stint at UCLA, and did some much needed revamping. I would still like a picture of him with his current team the Chiefs, if someone could add that it would be great. Burroughsks88 02:09, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
Also, why the hell is he listed as the head coach of san jose state? please get this off.
