[edit] Spin-offs--help, please

I made significant alterations to the passage about the spin-offs from DPZGT (including removing that word because it's not appropriate to a stand-alone episode of an anthology being a pilot). Along with adding the pilot episodes' titles and the two series (including one second generation) that were omitted, I asked for specific episodes to be submitted for the alleged "spin-off"s Frontier Justice and Stagecoach West. Their own Wiki-articles don't substantiate the claim, and beyond reporting that they were also produced by Four Star Productions, neither does the IMDb. I especially cannot see that it is probable that one anthology series could be the venue for the pilot for another (Frontier Justice), although I admit that of the two vintage Outer Limits episodes that were projected series pilots, one was indeed for an anthology; however, it had to be significantly altered to fit into OL 's format, so it not that good a precedent. For Stagecoach West, Robert Bray is not listed by IMDb as ever appearing on DPZGT, and Wayne Rogers only once, in an episode that doesn't sound like it could be the pilot for SW, especially since he had a completely different character name; nor can I find both or either of their SW character names played by other actors in any DPZGT episode predating the debut of SW. Can anybody help here? BTW, I also deleted the comparing of Powell's position as host here to Ronald Reagan's on G.E. Theater, as there were so many instances of more-or-less-stars hosting anthologies at that time that it seems unnecessary. Ted Watson (talk) 21:43, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

UPDATE—I just took a closer look at the IMDb entry for Frontier Justice and realized that it was repackaged DPZGT reruns used as a summer replacement for three straight years, so I'm deleting it from the spin-offs passage. Ted Watson (talk) 20:52, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
