[edit] Article name

Can we change this to "Dick Johnson (Australian Motor Racing)" as we don't race on auto unlike the Nascar tank jockeys who go around and round and round... Albatross2147 05:40, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Don't use capital 'M' and 'R'. I'd suggest Dick Johnson (motor racing) or Dick Johnson (racing driver), but having lost the plan to leave this article at Dick Johnson, I'm not in the mood to move it again. --Scott Davis Talk 06:48, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
I eventually moved it from Dick Johnson (Australian auto racing) back to Dick Johnson (racing driver). --Scott Davis Talk 13:25, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Series name

Pirtek, I notice your recent change of the Dick Johnson page where you have said the Australian Touring Car Championship changed its name in 1997 to the V8Supercar Championship Series. Below is the link to official timing for the 1997 Lakeside round i site as evidence that this name change did not take place until 1999. Yes the cars became known as V8Supercars in 1997, but it took another two years for the series to change its name. I can also refer you to event programs from these years if you so wish. http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results.cgi?15/06/1997.LIR --Falcadore 11:27, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
