This page is nearly identical to Greed and both games are within the range of variant rules of farkle. In each page, nearly the same rules are described, and the Greed and Dice 10000 pages claim specific rules as being correct, when in reality all of these games are folk games with variant rules having arisen in different playing communities.
What do people think of the idea of in some way merging all of these pages, perhaps with redirects or stubs that refer readers to one page where the rules and variations in all games are discussed? The farkle page is already moving in that direction, but I have seen some references claiming that the name 10000 is the most ancient. Can anyone propose a way of determining which name is most widespread now? A Google search might work, but only a tiny fraction of returns for 10000 and greed searches will have to do with the dice game.Jbening 20:08, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
