Dickson Minto is a leading Scottish law firm.
According to The Lawyer, Dickson Minto is the 76th largest firm in the United Kingdom. However, the firm is considerably smaller (and more profitable) than the three largest Scottish law firm's by revenue, leading to the loose comparison with the leading English firm, Slaughter and May, which is also smaller but much more profitable than its main rivals. Also according to The Lawyer (writing in 2006), Dickson Minto is the most profitable law firm in Scotland, and the 3rd most profitable in the United Kingdom overall:[1]

The firm was founded in 1985 by Alastair Dickson and Bruce Minto, two former partners from rivals, Dundas & Wilson.
