Dickie Peterson (born 1948, Grand Forks, ND) is the bassist and lead singer for Blue Cheer. He has also recorded two solo albums: Child of the Darkness and Tramp. It has been speculated that his name may be somewhat of a penile metaphor, though it has never been publicly revealed whether it is a stage name or his birth name.
