Richard R. "Dickie" Boon (January 10, 1878 in Belleville, Ontario – May 3, 1961) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played for the Montreal HC of the CAHL and the Montreal Wanderers of the FAHL in the early 1900s.

[edit] Playing career
Boon helped lead the Montreal HC to the franchise's only two Stanley Cups 1902, 1903. The Montreal HC were the last amateur club to win the Stanley Cup.
Following his retirement, Boon went on to become the cofounder of the Montreal Wanderers, the city's first professional hockey club. He lead the Wanderers to four Stanley Cup titles in 1906, 1907, 1908, and 1910 as Manager.
After hockey, Boon became a co-founder of the Boon-Strachan Coal business. After leaving the ice for good, he took up curling and golf.
