Dick Twining

Richard Haynes Twining (3 November 1889 - 3 January 1979) was an English cricketer and cricket administrator.

Dick Twining was born in St Pancras, London and was educated at Oxford University. He played in 78 first-class matches as a right-handed batsman for Oxford University, Middlesex and MCC between 1910 and 1928. He scored 2,963 runs at an average of 22.96, with three centuries. His highest score was 135.

He became President of Middlesex CCC (1950-1957) and President of MCC (1964/1965). He was widely respected as an administrator.

Dick died in Kensington, London aged 89.
