Dick Coury

Dick Coury is an American football coach who served as head coach of the Boston/New Orleans/Portland Breakers of the United States Football League from 1983 to 1985. A 1951 University of Notre Dame graduate, Coury also served as head coach of Mater Dei High School, compiling a record of 96-9-3 from 1956 to 1965 before joining USC coach John McKay's staff as defensive coordinator.
Coury then moved on to Cal State-Fullerton, serving as the school's first head coach in 1970 and 1971, tallying a record of 13-8-1.
Coury has also held coaching positions with the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles St. Louis Rams and San Diego Chargers and served as head coach of the Portland Storm of the World Football League.
