Dichlorine monoxide, Cl2O, is a chlorine oxide.
Dichlorine monoxide is the anhydride of hypochlorous acid; it is related to hypochlorites generally.
It is also the unstable decomposition product of calcium hypochlorite, and in high concentrations presents the risk of ignition by friction or static spark.
