Dibson T. Hoffweiler

Dibson T. Hoffweiler (b. July 16, 1983) is the pseudonym of guitarist and singer-songwriter David Thanos Heliotis. Heavily associated with New York City's anti-folk movement, Hoffweiler is commonly referred to as "Dibs," his stage name. His albums include "More Unsent Letters" (2004, Luv-a-Lot Records), "Slivers and Bits" (2005, Luv-a-Lot Records), and "Dibs Bleeds Books" (2006, self-released). One previous recording, "Self Portrait", was released under the name "David Thanos."
Hoffweiler has toured nationally and internationally, both solo and in bands such as Huggabroomstik and Cheese On Bread. He is also a founding member of Urban Barnyard, along with Phoebe Kreutz and Dashan Coram.
