Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Since you identified this account as being run by a representative of Next Page Entertainment, I would like you to take a look at Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy. Your article on Xxzotic was recently deleted because of concerns over advertorial bias (see WP:CSD#G11). Please refrain from using Wikipedia for promotional purposes. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 03:26, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Note that this does nothing to hide your admission of being a company representative. Please don't recreate the Xxzotic article again. If this artist garners critical and commercial success, someone unaffiliated with your company will create a neutral article. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 03:33, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- To begin with, don't build the article around a copy of a press release[1]. All articles must adhere to a neutral point of view, so statements like "poised to take the industry by storm" are unwarranted. To maintain an article, artists must also pass a threshold of notability, this is defined at WP:MUSIC. However, since you work for Next Page Entertainment, you are generally excluded from creating any sort of article about an artist with whom you maintain a business relationship. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 03:48, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- All right, thanks for understanding and pointing out the specific criteria. What I can do is restore the article in a barebone state called a stub, and others can add on to it later. Also, could you please forward an e-mail to permissions@wikipedia.org that confirms your release of that photo into the public domain ˉˉanetode╦╩ 04:04, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
