they got it wrong

No they didn't, such a groundbreaking ruling would have been against the constitutional principles of the United Kingdom. If the law on assisted suicide is to change, it should be done by the democratically elected parliament – not through judicial creativity. For my part though, the law on assisted suicide should be changed but Pretty v DPP wasn't the medium for that change. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.42.197.26 (talk) 20:10, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
