Basically I need this category to conform to our core policy WP:V. In the absence of verifiable and reliable information that the subject of this article belongs in this category, we may not have it. Ethnic categories are widely misused on Wikipedia at present and I am having a cleanup. In about 90% of cases the category has merely been added by assertion, as here. If verifiable sources can be found stating that the subject's ethnicity is significant to her notability, I have no problem with re-adding the category. --John (talk) 16:39, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

I've added additional references which verify her ethnicity, which is quite significant to her life story. Tweisbach (talk) 16:58, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
