[edit] Diana is notable
I do not understand your reasoning. There are many articles on Wikipedia about important contemporary visual artists. When I search Wikipedia I find entries for Bill Viola, Stan Douglas, Jeff Koons, Mike Kelley these are all Diana Thater's contemporaries. As it states in the first paragraph she has won a Guggenheim, been in three Whitney Bienneals, the Carnigie International and Many other museums. She is in the permenent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Tate in London and MOCA Los Angeles to name a few. She is considered extremely noteworthy in the contmeporary art world. I have linked her to many institutions that have their own Wikipedia pages. I really do not understand this judgement. I would aslo like to mentiuon that when I search say Johnny Cash, Keith richars, Sean Connery, Tom Crusie and on and on and on they all have wikipedia pages are biased against the visual arts? Just because you my not personally be familiar with it doesn't make it unimporatant.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Eddiesmom (talk • contribs) <!Eddiesmom (talk) 01:53, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

- Rest assured you're not alone in your confusion. Similar observations have been made at: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Diana Thater. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 02:04, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
