[edit] Parody?
Okay, so I'm farmiliar enough with fundamentalist propaganda to know that many really do believe this sort of stuff, but the hell page almost feels like an elaborate parody. Among other bizzare claims, they seem to believe tube worms to be the souls of the damned, unless I'm reading something wrong...
---Well, they also beieve that drums are satanic. That's probably the funniest thing I found on the site. Yeah, they're crackpots, and as a rock musician/agnostic they attack everything that I stand for, but hey...at least they're better than GodHatesFags.com. (King Tarkus)
- I'll admit, they are a wee bit extreme compared to most other Fundie sites & groups, but I have seen a large number of other sites which link there, and they themselves link to a lot of other Christian sites, all of which seem pretty authentic. That and the fact that they also sell a large portions of threir tracts through Paypal, makes me think that they are a real site. Avador 18:46, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
If Westboro Baptist Church are serious, these guys definitely are. DanCrowter
Why is it a "controversial" website? What significant "controversy" exists surrounding it?69.129.152.139 01:09, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

- It's controversial because they can't quote a whole song. It's controversial because they use Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon to prove that Christian music is wrong. And then go as far as saying because someone watches or listens to something not Christian then they can't be Christian. I'd say that's pretty controversial, especially when you e-mail bomb a band's server when they respond to you.OfficialDoughboy (talk) 15:22, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
They ==Linkspam== Per WP:EL item #5, I removed the link to their website because it's commercial. --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 03:20, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- That's the point of the article. It's about the site. It's stupid not to have it. I re-added it. — Phantasy Phanatik | talk | contribs 08:43, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Ok...I see it's been a long time since most of these users made these comments, but I'll go ahead and give my response. It's not a parody, unfortunately, and I should know, having sent an email complaining about their ludicrous statements about CCM artists and the Hook'em Horns sign being satanic, and the response they sent was insane--not just with "repent ye sinner" crap but with a ton of resources they actually claim prove it. And besides, Westboro is way more extreme than this, so why wouldn't it be genuine?Flutequeen84 (talk) 23:37, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
