Diane Patrick

Diane Patrick (née Bemus) (born 1951) is the First Lady of Massachusetts and the wife of Gov. Deval Patrick. Born in 1951, Patrick is a lawyer who specializes in labor and employment law. She holds a BA from Queens College and a JD from Loyola Law School. Patrick served as a University Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at Harvard University, as Harvard's Director/Associate Vice President for Human Resources. She is currently a partner at the Boston law firm Ropes & Gray. She married Deval Patrick in 1984 and the couple has lived in Milton, Massachusetts since 1989 with their two daughters, Sarah and Katherine.
