Diane DiFrancesco

Diane DiFrancesco is the former First Lady of New Jersey and the wife of former New Jersey Gov. Donald DiFrancesco.
Mrs. DiFrancesco became First Lady in 2001 when her husband succeeded former Gov. Christine Todd Whitman as governor. Governor Whitman resigned to become EPA Administrator in the Cabinet of President George W. Bush. As First Lady, Mrs. DiFrancesco was active in promoting senior citizen and health issues around the state. She also worked on issues relating to state residents who were effected by the September 11 attacks. She and her husband starred in a series of television commercials promoting the state's tourism industry.
