The diamond stingray (Dasyatis dipterura) is a species of fish in the Dasyatidae family. It is found in possibly Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and the United States. Its natural habitats are shallow seas, subtidal aquatic beds, estuarine waters, intertidal marshes, and coastal saline lagoons. It is threatened by habitat loss.
