From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dial-the-Truth Ministries is a website which claims that both mainstream and Christian rock music are tools of Satan. The site, run by Dr. Terry Watkins and based in Pinson, Alabama, United States, archives articles asserting that popular Christian artists as DC Talk and Jars of Clay are actually under the influence of Satan.[1]. The organization began in 1990 as a telephone ministry with "inspirational" recorded messages for the caller.
The members of Dial-the-Truth Ministries also believe that Hell is a physical place located in the core of the Earth, saying, "I know what's really in 'the center of this earth'. Jesus Christ told us, over and over, 'There is a lake of fire—with millions of people burning, weeping, screaming, wailing, gnashing of teeth'."[2]
Dial-the-Truth Ministries has additionally written on the theory of a link between the number '11' and the September 11th terrorist attacks, alleging that, "This could be the "beginning of the end" of America the great."[3]
