The Dhawni Raj is a comic book supervillain in the Raj Comics. The character generally appears in the Super Commando Dhruva series.

Dhwaniraj's original name is professor Kale. He used to research on sound waves, but soon he realised that he can become rich by using his research in bad way. In Hindi, Dhwani means sound and Raj means king. Dhawaniraj is sound of terror. He uses sonic waves as his weapon to create horrors. Dhruva has hard time trying not to get away by Dhawaniraj's waves. Sonic boom could spell doom for Dhruva.

Dhwaniraj has the power of sonic waves, he has a sonic cannon that he wears in his hands, it is his primary weapon, his first appearance was in "Aawaz ki tabahi"

Dhwaniraaj's power is based on sound frequencies. Since sound waves cannot travel through vacuum, his powers are of no use in vacuum. This weeakness was spotted by Super Commando Dhruv in one of the comics.
