Dhok Kasib

Dhoke Kasib is a village in the Mandi Bahauddin district of the Pakistani province of Punjab.

It is situated 20 km south east of Mandibahauddin and 4 km south of famous town of Chillianwala railway station.The population of the Dhok Kasib is about 8000 people. The literacy rate is above 80%. The Dhok Kasib is well cultivated area. The most of people are formers and government servants. This proud village is continuous developing from the partition (1947). In the education sector this village showed a great effort. In 1900, a primary school was established. In 1981 it was convert into a middle school. Now a days it is serving the rural area as a higher secondary school Dhok Kasib. This village gave a great personilties to the great nation of Pakistan. Specially in education, politics, army, engineering and agricultural. The young generation of the village has tendecy to move to aboard like middle east, Europe, USA etc. to serve their families. The village has good religious tradition. The Jamat-e-Islami has a cradit to improve the peoples mind to religion and positive politics.
