Dhodial

Dhodial (also known as Dhudial) is a town and Union Council located between Baffa and Shinkiari in Mansehra District in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan[1]. The town was badly affected by the 2005 Pakistan earthquake.

Dhodial is located to the north of the city of Mansehra - it has an altitude of 995 metres (3267 feet) and is situated at Coordinates: 34°26′N, 73°16′E[2]. The river Siren flows alongside the town and a marvellous view of the River can be seen from the town. Near to University Rehmanabad village is situated. Where carpenters, farmers & other technical staff lives. The land Of Dhodial is very fertile regarding vegetables And tobacco.

The University of Hazara is situated in Dhodial and provides education to students throughout Mansehra District and the Hazara Region.

[edit] Politics

The dominant political group are the Pakistan Muslim League (N) - which is lead by Nawaz Sharif. The Swati Tribe who are in the Majority are also politically strong and influential.
