Dhirkot - is a town in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir. It is located 25 kilometres from Kohala, the gateway of Azad Kashmir, and 132 kilometres from Islamabad. Located at an altitude of 1676 meters, Dhirkot possesses an extremely pleasant and healthy climate. This place is very popular as a tourist resort mainly due to easy access, altitude and landscape. In the heart of the calm and quite Deodar and Kail mixed forest, there is a posh forest rest house, three Tourist Huts and a Log Hut, which are greatly sought after by tourists in the summer. Dhirkot is linked with all parts of Azad Kashmir by black top roads and direct transport services.

. Neela But is a place Near Dhirkot. Neela But is a the name of a mountain near Dhirkot. It has a historical backgorund. Kashmir Liberation war Started from this Mountain peak on 23rd August 1947, when the people of the Area rise the Flag against the Dogra Ruler Moharaja Hari Singh. Neela But has another significance.Mian Nawaz Sharif the ex prime Minister and Leader of opposition (at that time) in 1997 announced at Neela But that Pakistan has Nuclear Bomb. There was uproar in the media at that time. Some people condemned this announcment but later it was proven true when Pakistan has shown 6 Nuclear test in response to the 5 Indian Nuclear test.
