Dhirendra Verma

Dhirendra Verma was a prominent Hindi poet. He headed the Hindi department of Allahabad University for several years. He wrote many books, some of which are considered to be classics, and along with Rahul Sankrityayan represented the spatial and temporal dimensions of Akshayat. He also nurtured many prominent writers one of whom was Dharamvir Bharati who edited the hugely popular Dharmayug.
