Coordinates: Dhana is a census town in Sagar district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India.

Dhana is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 513 metres (1683 feet).
Dhana has a small aerodrome and an army cantonment. It has cell phone towers of almost all cellular operators. Dhana is known for its lively people mainly brahmins.
Village Dhana is also famous for its highly educated people who have made in to civil services and top positions in media. The intellect and guts of its people is famous in Bundelkhand region and top political leaders of Madhya Pradesh have never failed to acknowledge it.
Governor of Madhya Pradesh Dr Bhai Mahavir had specially come to the village on invitation of Deepak Tiwari a senior journalist to see the village.
Barely two kilometers from the aerodrome is located the Shiva Temple of Patneswar which is thronged by devotees every Monday.

As of 2001 India census[2], Dhana had a population of 10,295. Males constitute 61% of the population and females 39%. Dhana has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 84% and, female literacy is 63%. In Dhana, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
