Dhamma vicaya is Pali for "investigation" and is one of the Seven factors of enlightenment (sambojjhangas).

It means the study of dhamma, physical or mental phenomena that constitute absolute reality. Nevertheless, this factor implies no thinking but to look at things as they really are, in order to deliver from ignorance and desire.
