David Goodberg grew up in the midwest United States. He attended two universities in Illinois: The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he recieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he recieved a Master of Science in Education. He currently resides in Los Angeles working in film/tv and is writing a book of scien-fiction short stories.
