DGC Rarities: Volume 1 is the name of a rarities album compiled by the Geffen Label. The songs featured on this album are all rarities, B-sides, demos, etc. Interestingly enough, the Counting Crows song, "Einstein on the Beach (for an Eggman)" managed to make it to number one on the Billboard Modern Rock chart.
