DF Music Organization is a cross functional company which deals in different aspects in the field of music. DF Music Organization was founded in autumn 2004 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The staff of this company includes people who took the responsibilities of promoting and developing qualitative music not only in Russia but also abroad.
DF Music Organization includes: a concert agency, booking agency, a commercial agency, record label and DFMO.NET magazine about alternative music life in Russia and in the whole world.

[edit] Russian Alternative Project
The brand, that DF Music Organization started with. It consists of an Annual CD-compilation & Festival. This compilation gathers the best and most interesting Russian Alternative artists and is supported by the festival with the same name. However the festival is always held in St. Petersburg, the CD-compilation is well-known all over Russia.
The first compilation was released on September 2004. It included the best Russian alternative artists. This CD was never re-released, that's why only collectors and devoted alternative fans have it now. The festival was held on 19 September 2004 in Saint Petersburg. It included #####, eSKIMO, Aytside & SpOiLed as the headliners. The second Russian Alternative project also consisted of the festival and compilation.
Russian Alternative 2005 festival was divided into several gigs, with the final festival of the Russian alternative 2005 Final Festival included Amatory, Apshell, Aytside, Skunk as the performing artists.
In spite of that Russian alternative 2005 Final Festival was planned to be a presentation of the CD, the release date was delayed to May 2006, because of the negotitations with Sony/BMG about track On ne changera Rien by Pleymo.
Due to the fact that international bands were included in 2005's compilation, the official name was changed to RA2005. The third compilation Russian Alternative 2006 was released in December 2006. It was not supported by the festival that year. Alexey Vlasov - editor-in-chief of DFMO.NET Magazine commented: "Russian Alternative 2006 festival is not planned, because DF Music Organization is now working on 2007's festival, which will blow your mind"[1] Everything concerning Russian Alternative 2007 project is yet TBA.

The record label was launched along with company in 2004. The success started with its first release Russian Alternative 2004. Now the label is focused not only on rock and metal, but also on house and R'n'B music.

DF Music Organization works with club gigs and also with famous artists on big stages.
With Moscow concert agency "TCI", DF Music Organization took part in organizing concerts of such bands as Rammstein, Prodigy, Accept and others.

[edit] DFMO.NET
DFMO.NET is the first magazine, focused on alternative music in the Russian Federation.
The magazine was founded in September 2006. The first issue was released 1 November 2006. It was supported by the presentation on 19 November 2006. Since that time the magazine has been released 4 times a year. It features not only bands & gigs, but also the usual problems of young people, such as drug addiction, Russian Chanson, "Internet overdose".
The original editor-in-chief Roman Pitehov was fired after the first issue. Now the magazine is led by Alexey Vlasov.
DFMO.NET also based in St-Petersburg.

There were many rumours and versions of the meaning of DF. But the founders of the organization commented that it means nothing, until in Summer 2006 STi publicly and officially revealed that DF is short for "DreamFate".
That's why the slogan of DF Music Organization is: "Your Dream - is your Fate".
Also the business cards of DF employers are signed with the word "DreamFate". So the full name of the organization is DreamFate Music Organization.
