[edit] Shameful
This article is written with the skill of a mentally compromised eight year old. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.234.125.234 (talk) 20:41, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- So fix it up. --75.54.127.205 (talk) 05:34, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Daughter's Age
Okay, his daughter is not 28. Dexter himself is only 40, which means he would have to have fathered her when he was 12.
Furthermore, here is an interview with Dexter Holland by Wave Magazine, presumably from 2003 since it says the band just released Splinter:

In it Dexter Holland says his daughter is 16. That would make her not 28 but either 18 or 19. I can't find an actual birthdate for his daughter, though, so I think any reference to her age should be removed altogether until someone finds that info.

His daughter is 20. She was born on Christmas. I am acquaintanced to her, and best friends with her mother Siri 23:02, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- I thought her mother died in a car accident. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.149.203.252 (talk) 05:41, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- No, her mother is still alive. They were never married. The rumor about the car accident isn't true. She didn't even know about it until I read it on the internet one day and brought it to her attention that she was 'dead'. She does get a kick out of it but does want it to be known that it's not true. Dexter's daughter, Alexa, is a wonderful girl and a very talented musician with a beautiful voice and a skill for songwriting. 74.130.45.95 (talk) 02:20, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Equipment
I added this stuff - I've gathered this information after watching several gigabytes of live videos. I also have close-up pics and mp3 soundclips I've extracted for each of his guitars. I'm kinda a n00b - can anyone help me to upload them? 69.141.136.239 21:32, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wrong infobox type
It shouldn't be a band infobox. Shouldn't it be {{Infobox musical artist}} or {{Guitarist infobox}}? --GVOLTT 21:53, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
I changed it... :D Ygokazuki 20:57, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] hair
The second sentence of the article is currently:
- He is almost immediately recognizable by his full head of spiky light-blond hair.
This is a bit odd, because: 1) That's not a particularly uncommon haircut; and 2) for the majority of The Offspring's career, including their peak of fame, he did have a particularly notable/unusual hairstyle, long dreadlock-like braids. So I think something about this should be changed. --Delirium 02:15, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
It's not certain if the braids were his harstyle for the majority of his career. I've seen very early Offspring pictures and videos that show him without braids. Either way, the braids are long gone, so I think it's best to remove this.

[edit] Pilot type ratings
I think the type ratings are for a different pilot. check the DOB, the y not i in bryan, as well as location. It is far more conceivable that he lives in california than green bay. check the FAA site for bryan holland instead.206.45.164.135 05:59, 11 April 2007 (UTC) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.45.164.135 (talk) 05:59, 11 April 2007 (UTC).
[edit] IQ
I heard his IQ was around 165, not surprising as he was working on getting a phd. i would have put it in personal life but i don't have a reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.141.144.221 (talk) 14:06, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Look, "mate", Wikipedia must be utterly naff - as the article does not even MENTION the fact that Dext's wife is now an utter 100% CORPSE!!! - Dean —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.150.68.35 (talk) 22:21, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
