[edit] Reasoning behind removals on Andrea Muizelaar article?

Hi Coltonblue... just curious what prompted the removals you made to the article on Andrea Muizelaar. For example, that she was a cashier at a dollar store to me is a notable fact. If she was a cashier at a haute couture store, it would have been less notable. I am a Wikipedia novice though, so I may be missing a whole train of thought that you were following. DeweyQ 02:17, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

The article does still note that before winning she was a cashier, but it is unnecessarily specific to list which chain in particular and sort of irrelevant. The part about her clothing coming from Goodwill is also sort of irrelevant to the article.--Coltonblue 02:59, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ben's Chili Bowl

Thanks for fixing that. I copied the example from Wikipedia:WikiProject Geographical coordinates to see how to use type:, and forgot to remove it . - BanyanTree 02:09, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article System Requirements: Review request

Hi! I noticed your comment on talk page of System Requirements. I also stumbled upon the article and saw that it needed improvement. I have considerably expanded the article over last few days. Please review it, if you have time, and let me know on my talk page if you feel it can be improved further. Some more work is needed and I'll mention them on the article discussion page. The original version you visited is here. Mahalo! --Vikas Kumar Ojha Talk to me! 20:44, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your note! I didn't take the sections and headings style so seriously till now, but I will from now on. I am quite new and still learning. Ill make the suggested changes right away. I'll try and pull more editors to this page, and would request you to keep it on your watchlist too. I think we should remove the Examples sub-head as well. Please update your views on the article talk page as well, so that other editors can be on the same page about planned updates. Mahalo! --Vikas Kumar Ojha Talk to me! 03:41, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your kind note! Your recognition of my work has given my morale a big boost. I need your help on the planned updates, up for discussion on the article talk. Please do have a look at it. Thanks again! --Vikas Kumar Ojha Talk to me! 19:03, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

None this quarter!

Role call
We ask that within a month, all members sign our role call to show that they are still active participants in the project. More information is available on the role call page.
Major news
WikiProject RuneScape, our former child project, was moved to become a task force of this project in January as it had a small scope but the task force is still going strong to this very day.

This past quarter marks the beginning of our new collaboration system MMOGCM. Past collaborations thus far have been World of Warcraft and MMORPG, both of which made it to GA status while it was the MMOGCM.

As well, we now have an Outreach Department which works on this newsletter as well as spreads the word of our project.

WikiProject MMO is also now a participant in the Work via WikiProjects division of Wikipedia 1.0 and as such, we will be helping decide which are the best (based on quality and importance) articles within our scope. Project members can discuss which articles are to be included here.

News from the RuneScape Task Force
We are currently trying to improve this task force so that we can edit all RuneScape-related articles in an organized manner. To do that we started a massive overhaul which we invite all task force members to participate in.

We have also gotten our main article, RuneScape to good article status this quarter. All this, and the task force was only created in January.

Signed...
Greeves, Ed

On behalf of WikiProject Massively multiplayer online games.
