From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dewittville is a tiny community situated on the Chateauguay River in southern Quebec, Canada between the towns of Huntingdon and Ormstown, approximately 70 km south-west of Montreal.

Highlights of the hamlet are the Dewittville General Store & Cafe-terrasse, which includes one of Canada's oldest continually functioning post offices, est. 1833 by Charles DeWitt. The old grist mill, dam and the picturesque views of the Chateauguay River from the two bridges found between Highway 138A and the River Road are also notable.
