Dewi Griffiths joined BBC Wales from the Royal Air Force where he became a producer of outside TV sports programmes, notable Rugby. After retirement he has hosted he highly popular nostalgia record programme 'A String of Pearls' on Radio Wales. The programme has many internet listeners around the world.
