Dewar, Iowa

Dewar is an unincorporated community in eastern Black Hawk County, Iowa, United States. It lies along local roads southeast of the city of Waterloo, the county seat of Black Hawk County.[1] Its elevation is 889 feet (271 m), and it is located at (42.5255424, -92.2190702).[2] Although Dewar is unincorporated, it has a post office with the ZIP code of 50623,[3] which opened on 25 October 1887.[4]
