DeWayne "Blackbyrd" McKnight is an American guitarist. He was a member of The Headhunters, a jazz-funk fusion band. McKnight is a member of Parliament-Funkadelic. He served briefly as guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers after the death of Hillel Slovak.
