[edit] License tagging for Image:Opmag07g.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Opmag07g.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:08, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Supreme Goddess Lorena

Welcome to Wikipedia! I'd be happy to help. In a biography article, it's important to clearly communicate what is important about the subject of the article (What are they known for? What notable things have they done?). The introductory paragraph of Supreme Goddess Lorena summarizes what her areas of interest are, but doesn't highlight what is unique and interesting about her as compared to others who might be involved in similar activities. Also, since this is a biography of a living person, it's very important to cite reliable, independent sources so that we know the information is accurate. Because of this requirement, there's a rule of thumb that says it's best to hold off on writing a biography article until you have those kinds of sources together.

The other place where you might run into problems is the article has the tone of a guide for people who are interested in becoming involved with Female Supremacy and Lorenaism; it uses a lot of phrases and concepts that might seem odd to people who are unfamiliar with Lorena's work. The article seems to assume the truth of Lorena's philosophy in places, which makes it difficult for people who've never heard of her or Female Supremacy to understand. With information on her book, films, and websites listed, the article comes across like an advertisement or like it is trying to convince people of Lorena's views. A good exercise might be to look through the article Gorean, about a view very opposite to Female Supremacy, and try to write in the sort of tone that you could use for both that article and Supreme Goddess Lorena without offending practitioners of either lifestyle. I hope that helps. If you have any more questions, just drop me a line. - AdelaMae (t - c - wpn) 16:18, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Images

Hi. You've uploaded a couple of images that are watermarked "All rights reserved", but labelled them {{GFDL-self}}. Can you clarify what the actual license of these images is and where they came from? Jkelly 23:38, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
