RS, I accept your apology. I asked the community to reconsider your indefinite banning here. An administrator responded that, given the severity of this type of offense, a long break from Wikipedia was warranted. Perhaps you will have success some time later in requesting an unblock (maybe in a few months). You will be more likely successful if you express an understanding of Wikipedia policies against sockpuppetry and harassment, and why it is wrong to engage in these activities. If you are unblocked, I hope you will return to the good work of adding well-sourced material to articles, as you have done admirably in the past. Good luck. [edit] Unblock
This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.
Request reason: "This is my former account. I have not used it for editing. I don't have the password of this account. There is no point in blocking this account. Please unblock this account. RS1900 11:31, 3 May 2008 (UTC)"
Decline reason: "Since the only way this account could be used is if someone guessed the password and compromised the account, it will remain blocked Gwernol 12:08, 3 May 2008 (UTC)"
Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.
- There is no point in unblocking it either, then. Or am I missing something? -- lucasbfr talk 12:03, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
