The image PX size wasn't really a problem. The project page had a typo in the instructions where is said 300. It should have been corrected a long time ago.(I've corrected it now) Have fun with the project and feel free to ask any questions at the project discussion page. Cheers! I've noticed you've been busy with the Torme article. Seen your name pop up into a few Deep Purple related articles too. I saw Deep Purple in 1972 and then again on their reunion tour in 1984....great shows! I am only around sporadically in the evening. But I will try and read over your 2 articles as soon as I get some free time. In the meantime if you want quick editing hints you can read some of Wiki's guidelines...they're pretty straight forward. WP:CITE is about references(probably the most important aspects of an article...WP:V and WP:SOURCE go right along with wp:cite). WP:NPOV is about Wiki's "Neutral Point of View" policy. The best way to summarize that one...'no poetic adjectives'...unless, of course, they have a ref. WP:NOR=No Original Research...which goes without saying. Wiki is overpopulated with editors who write articles that look like a junior high school book report. One other good one to read is WP:AWW=>No Weasel Words('considered by many', 'one of the', 'is often mentioned as', 'arguably'...etc). There are many other guidelines/policies...see WP:POL. Those policies can tell you how to make a good article in much better terms than I can. Hope that helps. I will dbl back and read your articles later. Cheers! Sorry I'm late getting back to you. I browsed over the articles you mentioned and thought they were both coming along fine. I won't grammar police them. I thought there were a couple of sentences that I might have worded differently...but that doesn't mean they aren't OK just the way they are. I would note that some of the bold text seems to stand out a little too much and maybe just italics would be better. WP:MoS (Wikipedia Manual of Style) is an excellent read for Wiki-article standards. Nice use of citations too. I didn't actually view the refs....just the fact that there are some is great because 90% of Wikipedia articles don't have any. The more the better. Keep up the good work! Cheers! Cheers :) I'll work on style and format to polish them as I gather more material. I've been focusing on the former Gillan line-up as this was the first band I ever saw live, way back in the day. I think I was about 14 yrs old at the time, and the best part of 30 yrs later, I can still remember how totally blown away by them I was. Considering the talent that was gathered in that band, and how influential, directly and behind-the-scenes, the individual musicians were in the British music scene from c.60-90 I was a little surprised that three of them had no entry at all and what articles there were only served to disappoint, not inform. I think the way that the music industry networks in general has always been very tight, but there's a real... incestuousness, almost, about the Deep Purple family tree. The same names/friendships constantly crop up and really determined how the band constantly evolved, and they were such a massive influence on all subsequent rock acts! Anyway, I am babbling. Hi, I don't want to get into a lengthy debate with you on notability. Wikipedia is full of users who are adding hundreds of "trivial" items in it while important topics are being left out. My mission is not to go after all of them. But I couldn't agree that Konnie Huq passes the Notability requirement of wikipedia. Wikipedia's notability requirement is -

"a topic is notable if it has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, reliable published works, whose sources are independent of the subject itself.

What constitutes "published works" is broad and encompasses published works in all forms, including but not limited to newspapers, books and e-books, magazines, television and radio documentaries, reports by government agencies, scientific journals, etc." —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Armanaziz (talk • contribs) 02:30, 27 January 2007 (UTC).

I disagree 100% - please read the article in question and Google Huq and you will find that she more than meets the requirement to be included on the English language Wikipedia. Devious Viper 20:37, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I sure am. To be honest I'd never heard of the stuff. Im from Kettleshulme (I wrote the article myself). Where abouts from Staffordshire are you from? One last thing, can you give me the stub on 'Irish Towns' because Im about to finsish an article about Portlaw in Ireland. JFBurton
