[edit] Welcome!

Hi Devil Master, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

  • RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism.
  • Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.
  • Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.
  • Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.
  • Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

[edit] Your username

To Wikipedians, your username may sound malicious hence the devil in it. One time, I had a nickname called "GoofyGuy", and other Wikipedians though I did malicious vandalism on Wikipedia. You could mask your username with a nickname. I suggest you nickname yourself "Clown master". --SuperDude 06:32, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

  • If Clown master is too malicious, maybe you could try "stunt master". --SuperDude 15:20, 11 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Please help me

Can you please help me with the Power Glove article? I see in the history that you made substantial contributions, and it needs to be cleaned up and properly referenced. The Power Glove is an important peripheral device, and could possible become a featured article, but it needs much work by interested editors. Yamaguchi先生 02:06, 18 October 2006

[edit] Early Prey screenshot reply

It's from a French gaming website. Here's the link: Planet e-games

You can also see a couple early screens from the game in the June 2005 issue of PC Gamer magazine if you are so inclined. -- Grandpafootsoldier 19:43, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "citation needed" on Captain S catchphrase is totally unnecessary.

Seems like the absolute least likely thing that even needs a citation. Here's a few things I found.

I feel tags like this are completely unnecessary, and if it does get referenced, people will just wonder, "Why was THAT even referenced," and the reference will eventually be removed, leaving all of these efforts to be completely useless. If you want to know for sure about something, ask the talk page instead of cramming citation-needed tags everywhere, please. It's not helping.

I just don't like wasting my time, and I'm sure others don't appreciate it as well. 216.37.86.10 (talk) 13:34, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

I think this edit is counter productive. While the first fact can easily be checked by watching the movie, it's not possible for a normal person to check the speed of light - so it should have a science source as reference link. --Avatar (talk) 15:48, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
