Is that picture right? Is that it? Is that all? It doesn't look like 40 feet in diameter. Why is there a fire ring in the middle of it? Why is there grass growing around it? Yea, I definately see grass growing in it. --Triadian 02:17, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I hear you, but I'm pretty sure that's it now. It seems to match other recent photos taken by other people. My photos are here, other photos for comparison are here and here. There was some trash all about (beer cans, etc), so it was in a bit of disrepair. From what I understand, high schoolers like to hang out there, which would explain the fire ring and the trash.

I looked for a circular path, but the entire area was kinda bare and scraggy. It was hard to tell if stuff wouldn't grow there for the legendary reason, or if it was just trampled down from lots of people. --Jdhorne 16:20, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

I've been there several times, and the photo looks legit to me... Depending on when you go there, sometimes the place is overgrown with vegetation, sometimes theres a whole big clearing where there is hardly anything growing. I guess it depends on what kind of visitors the place has had lately. Nekrogeist 02:35, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm removing http://www.devilstrampingground.com from the list. It really has nothing to do with the actual geographical site; it's an interactive flash site containing some ghost stories. --144.91.50.183 06:40, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
