[edit] Move

I think development should primarily refer to urban planning, and link to other uses from there. I don't see any reason to have the term go directly to the dab page. --Viriditas 02:09, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

No. --MinorEdits 03:29, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Development (disambiguation) page

Is there a good reason for the existence of the sex Development (disambiguation) page in addition to this one? They have very slight differences, but aren't they both trying to do the same thing?

Could we get a redirect from one to the other, or just eliminate one?Chidom 03:28, 25 July 2006 (UTC). I think we must also include Nationalsex Development.

Development (disambiguation) now redirects to this one, of which it was a clone. --MinorEdits 03:29, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
I guess as a biologist I'm biased towards separating out Development (disambiguation) as refers to developmental biology, which is a large and important field of research. Jed (talk) 16:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] POV check

The definition of development isn't phrased in a neutral way at all. Plus things need to be cleaned up. I'm not an expert or even know what to write on this. Jed (talk) 16:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Not good quality

The start of this page is really quite poor and is really refering to Development geography. Perhaps the first few sections could be removed up to land use. If there is a brief definition of development and then the list of all the rest. Does anyone have any views? SuzanneKn (talk) 19:22, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] development per se

Before development is discussed in terms of related fields, development should be defined and analysed eg. characteristicsof development, factors influencing development, etc (Jeff 17:04:2008) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.62.97.20 (talk) 06:53, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
