The Devotional Tour was Depeche Mode's 10th concert tour. It was the first part of two tours that were in support of their studio album Songs of Faith and Devotion. This part of the two-year world tour covered North America and Europe, whereas the second part, the Exotic Tour, covered South America and some parts of Asia.
[edit] The line-up
To some fans, this tour is infamous for being the last tour in which Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Alan Wilder and Andrew Fletcher performed together in the UK and North America. This was due to Fletcher suffering a mental breakdown halfway through the Exotic Tour, and then being replaced by Daryl Bamonte. Both tours were the last with Wilder.
