• The Manta ray, Manta birostris, the largest of the rays.
• Any species of ray in the genus Mobula.
• The Tampa Bay Rays, an American League baseball team in St. Petersburg, Florida known as the Tampa Bay "Devil Rays" from 1998-2007. Several affiliated minor league baseball teams still bear the "Devil Rays" nickname:
  • The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays of Battle Creek, Michigan, in the single 'A' Class Midwest League.
  • The Princeton Devil Rays of Princeton, West Virginia, in the 'R' Class Appalachian League.
• The Devil Ray heavy fighter is a fictional spacecraft in the Wing Commander computer game.
• Devil Ray is a Justice League Unlimited villain, based on the DC Comics villain, Black Manta.
