Devapi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the Indian epic Mahābhārata, Devapi was the eldest son of King Pratipa of Hastinapur. He was a noble and well-liked prince but opted out of kingship as he was not interested to work as king but to work as a world server. Because of this his younger brother Yayathi was crowned as king of Hastinapur. Later Devapi goes to the woods for penance. He along with Maru and Maitreya do a lot of world serving activities as per the directions of Lord Krishna.
