Deva is a Tamil movie starring Vijay and Swathi in the lead roles. It was directed by Vijay's father S.A.Chandrasekaran. The music is score by Deva.

Deva(Vijay) and Bharadhi(Swathi) are two lovers. He's the son of Manorama and brother of Mansur Ali Khan. She's daughter of Sivakumar who is the village head. Manorama is fully in support to her son to get married to Swathe. Sivakumar refuses to give his daughter's hand to him because his brother does not have a good reputation in the village. But then he realizes that Deva unlike his brother is a good guy. In the end, the lovers overcome all problems and get married.
