Deuterocohnia (named for Ferdinand Julius Cohn, German botanist and bacteriologist[1]) is a genus of the botanical family Bromeliaceae, subfamily Pitcairnioideae. Plants once described as belonging to the genus Abromeitiella have been reevaluated and reclassified within Deuterocohnia following modern DNA analysis[2].
