Deuterated methanol (CD₃OD), is a form (called an isotopologue) of methanol (CH₃OH) in which the hydrogen atom ("H") is replaced with deuterium (heavy hydrogen) isotope ("D"). Deuterated methanol is a common solvent used in NMR spectroscopy.
