Deuce the Devil Dog is a fictional Marvel Comics' character who is in fact just a guide dog. He was formerly owned by lawyer Foggy Nelson, friend and compatriot of Daredevil and later became Deadpool's "hostage" Blind Al's guide dog.
[edit] Fictional character biography
Deuce was originally owned by best pal to Daredevil, Franklin "Foggy" Nelson. His original purpose was to serve as a guide dog for the blind Matt Murdock.
Foggy places ownership of Deuce into the hands of Deadpool.[1] Deadpool decides that the Devil Dog would be a good companion for his roommate/prisoner, Blind Al. While Deuce loves Al unconditionally, Al tends to hate the dog.

- Often, in the recap page of Deadpool's third series, Deuce's name would show up as a joke saying things like "Deuce, The Devil Dog: Doesn't appear in this issue, but we had no one else so we put him in."
