[edit] Wikipedia_talk:Censorship
A watered-down version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you kindly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much. Loom91 13:14, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rollback
First, please excuse use of the rollback feature, I should not have used it.
I have reverted a couple of edits you made [1]. I think the edits are useful to maintain perspective regarding the matter. I did some research and found that the situation at other colleges is not different, but there is inordinate attention to the military academies. Fred Bauder 13:57, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Battle of Deir Yassin
I read your discussion topic in Qana shelling. I think you would be interested to know that there is voting going on to change the name in Deir Yassin to Deir Yassin Massacre. I believe you will be interested in such an outcome.

[edit] AfD
Ad hominem attacks have no place on AfDs. In AfDs, we discuss the merits of the article, not the personal philosophies of the nominators. Taking me to task for classifying myself as an inclusionist, and lecturing your view that it is against Wiki policy, was inappropriate. PT (s-s-s-s) 22:37, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- I do appreciate that you are trying to act in good faith in your discussions. However, what my userbox states or does not state is not relevant to AfDs, and that's all I am trying to assert. Nothing personal against you in the least. PT (s-s-s-s) 22:50, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Laci Peterson
Greetings!
I appreciate you letting me know of your plans to work on the Laci Peterson article. As you've noted, the majority of the introduction was provided by me, and it's good to know that you would take other's work into consideration (something many people don't do). I ask you to proceed with your plans, and feel free to make changes as you see fit. I've stopped using Wikipedia, and for that reason, can't really monitor articles I've worked on at one point or another. Good luck with everything, and good luck to being part of the next generation of Wikipedia editors. Stiles 17:32, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hi
I've left a response on the article talk page, so I hope we can avoid more reversions in the future. Hope you didn't take it personally. John Smith's 01:31, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I can see that there is worth in the article. I personally would not want such biased articles on either side on there, but I don't want to push the issue any further. John Smith's 10:46, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to WikiProject Former countries
Welcome, Detruncate, to the Former countries WikiProject! Please direct any questions about the project to its talk page. If you create new articles on a former territory, please tag their talk page with our project template {{WPFC}}. A few features that you might find helpful:
- The project's Navigation box points to most of the pages in the project that might be of use to you.
- Most of the important discussions related to the project take place on the project's main talk page; you may find it useful to watchlist it.
- If you wish to use the template {{Infobox Former Country}}, please read the instructions before you get started
- There are three other projects that this project is heavily involved with. You are welcome to join them as well:
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me or any of the more experienced members of the project, and we'll be very happy to help you. Again, welcome, and thank you for joining this project! - 52 Pickup 07:42, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Revamp
Just to let you know, I have completely revamped the WikiProject Zimbabwe page so that it is more uniform to the layout and design of other WikiProjects. Please have a look and try to fill in any of the new sections created. Your help is much appreciated. Many thanks, Mangwanani 16:59, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:JimGoad.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:JimGoad.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Carl (CBM · talk) 13:50, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WPZW September
Hi,
The current Zimbabwe WikiProject Collaboration of the Fortnight is Suburbs of Harare! | ||
Please read the nomination text and help improve the article to featured article standard if you can. |
As the number of people taking part in WikiProject Zimbabwe grows, I have more and more people to notify of changes. If you havn't already done so, please could you add the notice board to your watch list so that I can add any changes there and only once not as many times as there are members. Many thanks, Mangwanani 13:11, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
